CAD, CAN DBC, and interface docs on contract

Overview

Research programs fail on hardware variability, not ideas. MonoLith™ standardizes the battery stack with pre-engineered families that include traceable cells, repeatable wire-bonded module assembly, and full documentation from day one.

The BMS supports CAN with documented DBC objects, cell voltage and temperature sensing, passive balancing, HVIL, dual contactors with precharge, and isolation monitoring. Configuration is tailored per program. Every build ships with a full ICD, CAN message map, and STEP CAD issued at contract execution, structured to support grant deliverables, publication appendices, and program reviews.

01
Spec Review
Submit voltage, capacity, envelope, and interface targets. Engineering reviews for feasibility and flags fit issues before any commitment.
02
CAD and ICD
On contract execution: STEP CAD, interface control document, CAN DBC, and LV harness pinout. Integration work starts the same day.
03
Build and Test
U.S. assembled in Colorado. Functional test and documentation package, including cell traceability, assembly records, and test summaries, delivered with hardware.

University Research Programs

Propulsion studies, energy storage characterization, EV powertrain research, and grant-funded prototype vehicles. Documentation structured to support deliverables and program reviews. Single-unit MOQ means no procurement theater for a one-pack test article.

Why Research Teams Choose EVolve Battery

Not a catalog supplier. Not a distributor. Engineers who understand what a grant deliverable actually requires.

No Minimum Order

Single prototype builds welcome. No minimum order requirements, no procurement theater for one-pack test articles or small characterization studies.

Repeatability Across Builds

Standardized wire-bonded module assembly reduces hardware variability between test articles. In-family hardware means your data stays comparable across program phases.

Documentation for Grant Programs

CAD (STEP), ICD, CAN message map, test summaries, and installation notes formatted to support grant deliverables, publication appendices, and program reviews.

HIL and DAQ Ready

VCU-compatible CAN with documented DBC objects and BMS diagnostic hooks ready for hardware-in-the-loop benches and data acquisition systems.

Academic Procurement Support

Quotes structured for university purchasing workflows. Documentation compatible with grant reporting requirements and compatible with standard institutional PO processes.

Direct Engineering Access

Not a distributor, not a catalog supplier. The engineers building your pack are reachable throughout the program with no sales intermediary and no ticket queue.
